Tampa Palms is the largest community in New Tampa. It has over 7,000 acres with thousands of acres of conservation land and many lakes. Tampa Palms is located approximately 1 mile south of the I-75 exit with Bruce B. Downs Blvd, and about 25-30 minutes from Tampa International Airport and downtown Tampa.
 
 This community was started in 1991. Tampa Palms is comprised of a number of unique "villages," each with their own unique design and price range.  The Tampa Palms Country Club has a beautiful Art Hills golf course, 2 pools, a pro shop, a fitness and aerobic center, restaurant, and 24 suites for your guests.  There are several community parks in Tampa Palms with tennis courts, racquetball, volleyball, and basketball courts. One of the parks has an Olympic-size lap pool.  One of the most unique parks is River Park. It's a rustic  Florida oasis with access to the Hillsborough River, trails, camping, and picnic facilities.
